I’m kind of kidding here by including this in the FAQs. But in case you are having trouble convincing him, here’s my advice to get him just as excited for the session as you are: remind him how quickly this time flies by and how fast your kids are growing up. Next, I dare you to go through the photos on your phone and count how many include the whole family (I'm going to guess very few!). You all deserve these milestones and important years to be beautifully documented. And finally, I promise that everyone will have a blast and be grateful for the memories captured.
Okay, now how do I prepare my husband?
We all know toddlers have a mind of their own, but my goal is to make the session fun and stress-free for the whole family. My posing, prompts and style allow for movement, flexibility and authenticity.
Before the session, prepare them by talking about me and what to expect, and set them up for success by scheduling the session around naps and bedtimes. Help them feel their best with a full belly, empty diaper and lots of well-rested energy. And during the session, I want you to relax and cuddle your kiddos and I'll guide the way.
Family photos seem so stressful, how do I prepare my kids for the session?
I want you to feel comfortable in front of the camera, so my posing and prompts allow for movement, fun and authenticity. My editing style is bright, natural and timeless.
How would you describe your photography style?
All of your high resolution digital images will be delivered through an online gallery with print release that allows you to view, share, download and print your photos.
How will we receive the photos?

I know! Picking outfits can seem even more challenging than getting everyone on board, but I will send you a full guide of suggestions via email once we book your session. In the meantime, here's a quick tip that will hopefully reduce stress: outfits should coordinate, but not necessarily match. Pick 3-4 coordinating colors to work from and go from there.
