What a joyous day celebrating the love and marriage of Katie and Bryan! What more can you ask for when you have a beautiful sunny day, a small country church, amazing local food truck, fresh hard cider, and dance floor under the stars? Katie and Bryan’s day had all that and so much more and how fun to be a part of it.
Katie and I met in college and I was so excited to when she reached out to me about her summer wedding. Meeting Bryan first on Zoom and then at their snowy engagement session, I quickly realized why Katie fell for him. They are both such kind, sweet, funny people and are the perfect match.
Their wedding was in Northfield, MN, a small town just south of the Twin Cities – this is where Katie is from and they both now live. Northfield is the cutest town and was the perfect backdrop for their day. The ceremony was at Katie’s church, a small church outside of town called the Church of the Annunciation. The day was full of (happy) tears – including Katie getting her dress on, a first look with her dad, seeing her grandma before the ceremony, to the vows, toasts, and so many sentimental and emotional moments.
As if the day wasn’t already going so great, the reception was a blast! The weather was perfect and the whole reception was outside at a favorite local spot, Keepsake Cidery. Keepsake doesn’t normally host weddings, but it was a special treat for Katie and Bryan and with a large patio, string cafe lights, a gorgeous apple orchard and of course fresh hard cider, it was the perfect location for this outdoor reception.
We snuck out of the party for some of my favorite portraits of Katie and Bryan in the apple orchard. From start to finish, what an amazing day!
