Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Wedding Day + DoubleTree Hilton St. Paul | Izzy & Nick

Some wedding days are beautiful. Some are emotional. And some — like Izzy & Nick’s — are the kind that wrap you up in so much love and happy tears that you’re left smiling for days.

From the moment I arrived at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, I knew this was going to be a truly special day. Nativity is one of St. Paul’s most breathtaking parishes with its tall ceiling, glowing stained glass, and today there was even a full choir to fill the church with music. As the opening notes began and Izzy stepped into the aisle and Nick saw her for the first time that day the tears started flowing!

Throughout the Mass, you could just feel the love. Their vows. Their quiet smiles toward each other. The way they greeted guests afterward with full hearts and full eyes. We then took photos outside of the gorgeous church and then the wedding party took a Hummer limo (what!?) to portraits at St. Paul’s one and only, Irvine Park.

Their reception at the DoubleTree Hilton in downtown St. Paul carried that same joy straight into the evening. The room was filled with soft draping, huge windows pouring in natural light, and the kind of warmth that only comes from a room full of joyful people! During speeches and dances? Let’s just say… not a dry eye in sight.

Izzy & Nick, your wedding was overflowing with love from beginning to end. Thank you for inviting me into such a meaningful, joy-filled celebration. It was an honor to witness your tears, your laughter, and the deep, steady love you share.
